Terms of Service

Janamat is a public opinion polling and discussion platform. Janamat polls are non-binding public opinion polls. They are not official elections, referendums, or legally binding votes of any kind, and results carry no legal or governmental effect.

You must be 16 years or older to use Janamat. Janamat is intended for Nepali citizens. You must provide accurate sign-in information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

One account per person. Because Janamat is an opinion polling platform, creating or operating multiple accounts undermines poll integrity. Multiple accounts may be suspended or terminated without notice.

Votes are recorded on a public blockchain via a wallet associated with your account. On-chain records are permanent and publicly visible, but are not linked to your personal identity. See our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for understanding that votes cannot be changed or erased once cast.

You own the content you post. By posting, you grant Janamat a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it within the platform. You are responsible for what you post. Content must follow our Community Guidelines.

You may not:

• Post content that violates the Community Guidelines
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation
• Manipulate polls, including through multiple accounts or automated voting
• Attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt platform security or infrastructure
• Use the platform for anything unlawful

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

Janamat is provided “as is”. We make no guarantees about availability, accuracy of results, or fitness for any purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

If you have a complaint about the platform, a moderation decision, or your account, email support@janamat.app with your account email and details. We review all complaints as described in our Community Guidelines.
